Welcome to the Update

Welcome to another update of An Occult Forum. Meeting weekly at The Distillery Pub (615 7th Ave SW) this Tuesday event continues at 6:30 pm.

The past few weeks were very eventful for me but of little note to this endeavour, except, that I believe I've stirred up some significant interest in a regular gathering for sharing ideas. This coming Tuesday should prove a good turn-out with some very interesting topics for discussion.

Today I attended a seminar offered by Dean Clifford, a man with extensive experience and research into the structure, origin, and machinations that are the legal systems of today. Having researched these topics myself through many various perspectives, I've found Dean's approach very succinct and to the point when addressing the role of the government in daily life. The clarity he provides inspires me to persevere, standing in my integrity and equity, living a responsible human life.

The ideas I'll be presenting Tuesday night will focus on the nature of rights and the meaning of consent. The most fundamental social structures are based on confusion, deception, and often outright lies; this most certainly need not be the case. When we ask some pressing questions that typically remain under the radar of general consciousness, important issues crawl from out the shadows and into the light of our attention.

How is it that contracts come about and who has the right to enforce them?

Should services be provided at the threat of violence for non-compliance?

By what mechanism does the state interact with living human beings, and is there remedy to the illness that is corporatism?

Am I living my life for myself or the collective?

Do we prefer to operate under the presumption of incapacity, or extend our imaginations to the limitless potential that is our inherent right?

These ideas and more are on the docket for discussion. After a quick introduction to some basic concepts surrounding these questions, a group discussion can develop naturally. I look forward to an excellent conversation and contributions of new perspectives I have yet to encounter

Peace
