Town Hall Tuesday, May 1st, 2012

Greetings again, friends.

This update is an invitation to our weekly gathering at The Distillery (615 7th Ave SW) on Tuesday, May 1st, 2012.  We've been having lively discussions at our open forum on a wide variety of topics, this post acting as introduction to the upcoming idea I propose for discussion.

As cancer has become a major source for suffering that affects everyone on a wide social level, I feel inclined to address it from multiple perspectives.  The failure of the medical establishment to correctly identify and neutralize the condition has led to many competing ideas.  Through my research around the topic I've found many promising leads in alternative approaches and even more naysayers that poo-poo at everything that isn't surgery, radiation, or pessimism.

I would here like to name some authors, doctors, scientists, natural philosophers, inventors, unnamed shamen, and 'laymen,' alike, who've taken different paths to arrive at the same goal, curing cancer.  To be sure, the effectiveness varies between individuals and therapies and most evidence is anecdotal at best; however, the intention, commitment, and clear communication of people who've overcome diversity in the face of death speak more loudly to me than the limited scope of surgery, radiation, and pessimism.  These are some of the perspectives to be entertained next Tuesday:

Max Gerson and his daughter Charlotte Gerson, Harry Hoxsey, Royal Raymond Rife, Wilhelm Reich, Stanislaw Burzynski, Louise Hay, and many Amazonian shamen who've connected with the land, plants, and spirits.  To bring it all back around to our current cultural climate, cannabis is a valuable tool in the challenge of understanding and curing cancer.  A perfect example of this is Rick Simpson, a man who provides tangible facts and testimonial surety that cannabis extract has cured him of his skin cancer.

Well that's an astoundingly slight introduction to the vast world that is alternative cancer treatments.  To pursue the conversation further, join us down at The Distillery this Tuesday.

Peace and best wishes,

M

P.S.: Bring a USB flash drive for information sharing in order pursue this research further!
